Spider Solitaire or Freecells
is played with a classic 52 card deck, without Jokers. After shuffling, seven fanned piles of cards are laid in line at the top of the desktop.
The four aces form the foundations. As it becomes available, each ace must be played to a row above the piles. Cards in the appropriate suit are then played on the aces in sequence
The topmost card of each pile is turned face up. The remaining cards form the stock and are placed facedown at the upper left of the layout.
Any movable card may be placed on a card next higher in rank if it is of opposite color. Example: A red four may be played on a black five.
If the player is stuck, the game is considered lost.
